How The Trust Works

The Trust is relatively small and grants are usually up to £2,000 per application. 
 
Support is mainly focused on organisations based in Birmingham and the surrounding West Midlands Region who work directly with disadvantaged children and young people under 18 or with a disability under 25.
 
Requests for funding will be clearly for the direct benefit of children and young people under 18 or with a disability under 25 who are experiencing disadvantage and who live within the West Midlands Region.
 
Applications can be made by not for profit organisations, social, educational and medical professionals.  The Trustees are particularly keen to support smaller organisations with an annual income of less than £250,000.  
 
All grants are made at the discretion of the Trustees who meet four times a year in March, June, September and December to consider and allocate funds.  Their decision is final. 
 
The Trustees are sorry but in an effort to reduce administration costs no correspondence or telephone conversations will be entered into with regard to submitted applications.   Applications will only be acknowledged if successful.  
 
We do not, under any circumstance, make grants in response to applications received in the form of general appeals or mail shots.
